Five reasons NOT to work with us! 

  1. We won’t automatically believe everything you tell us. Sometimes frontline workers have different insights and perspectives. Sometimes they even know more than their bosses. We’ll listen to them too and involve them in improvement and change. 
  2. We love it when people ask difficult questions. Our approach encourages managers and employees at every level to ask “couldn’t we do this better?” We also help them to find the answers.
  3. We don’t do quick fixes. OK, we do look for some quick wins but our approach focuses on the root causes of problems, not symptoms. We’re not happy unless we can help you to achieve sustainable improvement and innovation.
  4. We’re not reassuringly expensive. Workplace Innovation began life as part of UK WON, a not-for-profit organisation created in 1997 to spread better ways of working through research, advocacy and inspiration. We continue to live UK WON’s values and to support it financially because we really want to make a difference.
  5. We tend to hang around. No, we don’t drag projects out unnecessarily but when we’re done we’ll keep in touch and invite you to join UK WON’s free-of-charge networking events. We might even ask you to share your achievements at one of our national or international business conferences . . .
