Clients and their Comments

I have recently successfully completed my Level 5 ILM Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring through ‘Workplace Innovation'.

I undertook the programme to enhance my coaching and mentoring skills, gain an accredited coaching qualification and improve my business offering as an independent HR Consultant. The whole experience was very positive and has brought early benefits to both me personally and my clients.

Harry Gilfillan is an experienced Coach and was particularly helpful both in providing insightful expertise around the subject and supporting me through the assignments. The work materials were clear and well-presented and our regular coaching sessions worked very well – complimenting my style and work commitments.

Harry has a very supportive approach and coached me through the process, always providing professional guidance and giving excellent feedback . I would highly recommend anyone considering following a 'distance learning' approach to strongly consider Workplace Innovation as their partner provider.

Our collaboration with Professor Totterdill and his colleagues proved to be inspired. Professor Totterdill filled the role of Masterclass facilitator with what seemed like effortless ease, thanks to a thorough grasp of the subject matter, a warm and engaging style of interacting with the audience, and a thoroughly professional approach to planning and preparation.

Lucy Fallon-Byrne, Director, National Centre for Partnership and Performance, Ireland

We wanted a WOW factor and you’ve certainly delivered that!

Tony Williams, Executive Director of People, Orbit Group

“Peter Totterdill has a creative and innovative proposition around change management that involves forum theatre and expert facilitation. He and his team delivered an outstanding event for our communications community that engaged them in the topic of change. During the session, actors presented a very engaging play about a company going through change. Between each of the scenes of the play, the audience could ask the characters questions, coach them to behave differently towards one another and explore what they could do as communications professionals to help the characters succeed. This way of learning is hugely engaging and Peter clearly has a wealth of knowledge and experience to offer on the topic. I highly recommend Peter and his team to anyone wanting to inspire and educate people about how to manage change well in organisations.”

Sharon Darwent, Head of Employee Engagement, BT

From a personal point of view I found Peter and Rosemary very easy to work with and their knowledge of the workplace is exceptional. They were always there to help, guide and point us in the right direction.

Irene Emery, Customer Services Director, Pendragon Contracts

Peter’s experience in effectively facilitating diverse groups in a Change Conference setting was evident. All aspects of the facilitation focused on fostering the active participation of attendees. Utilising diagonal, silo and working group seating arrangements for discussion and action planning was particularly effective in optimising the interest and enthusiasm of participants throughout the day. Most important was the emphasis on developing working groups to take the change agenda forward and report on it. The team were professional, flexible, supportive and reliable.

Gwen Moore, Co-ordinator, VEC National Partnership Forum, Ireland

“I have worked with Peter over a number of years, most recently in an Acas sponsored project in the East Midlands helping organisations introduce high performance work practices based on cooperation. Peter led the exercise. He is excellent in his range of knowledge on best practices across Europe and how they can be implemented. He is practical especially in working with companies and employees. He is a very good, participative seminar and workshop leader able to get the best out of people with everyone contributing.”

John Purcell, Professor of HRM, University of Warwick

“I can firmly recommend Peter's work in developing leadership capability and broader employee engagement insight.”

Dave Newborough, Head of Employment Relations, E.ON UK

“Professor Totterdill has proven himself as an internationally renowned expert in the area of workplace innovation by giving keynote speeches in Korea at international workplace innovation conferences consecutively in 2008 and 2009. We appreciate his big contribution to disseminate the concept of workplace innovation in Korea.”

Dr Jae-Ho Keum, Director, Korea Workplace Innovation Center, Seoul
